About Bright Indigo

May 2006 PAC

We all need innovation – modern economies are fuelled by innovation.

The problem is that the discipline ‘silos’ that have, up till now, incubated innovation, are just too constraining. Geneticist, cryptographers, high-energy plasma physicists, material scientists, civil engineers - indeed any specialist - can struggle to keep on top of their own areas.

Yet cross-discipline communication and working is now essential for science and technology innovation. These people now need to graze neighbouring disciplines to really trigger their creativity.

Bright Indigo aims to get people thinking ‘out of the box’. By sharing stories from other disciplines to foster innovative solutions in their own fields.

So, if you want to:

  • hear interesting, entertaining, crafted podcasts, that make you think;
  • listen to features and documentaries that respect your time;
  • hear something that will actually change your mind

– then Bright Indigo aims to do just that.
